Creative Mentoring - Become a Creative Mentoring Partner

Need some answers about talking with your mentee about war or terrorism? The National Mentoring Partnership has provided a resource called, "Talking to Kids About War" which provides a collection of online resources that may help answer some common questions and concerns adults may have about talking to children about terrorism and war.

supports in-school mentoring programs in New Castle, Kent and Sussex Counties of Delaware. We provide quality training to volunteer in-school mentors as well as help schools, in and out of Delaware, design and implement quality in-school mentoring programs.

Creative Mentoring
has grown enormously over the past eight years. In 1996 there were 60 Creative Mentors in nine northern Delaware schools. Today we partner with 80 schools throughout our state to provide quality in-school mentoring programs. In addition, we are the only organization in Delaware providing regularly scheduled mentor training to any adult who wishes to mentor a Delaware school child whether in a Creative Mentoring
program or any other of their choice. To date, we have trained more than 4500 volunteers, including many for other mentoring programs.
